The job is advertised as workers who will work 20 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Sunday. Salary ranges from £11,300 to £22,600/year depending on the number of hours worked (more than 350 million VND to over 700 million VND/year).
The selected candidate will be responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of some of the famous interiors of Buckingham Palace, and will learn and grow on the job. Occasionally, they will also support activities and events at the Palace.
The main goal of this cleaner is to ensure that the rooms and facilities of the Palace are always “in their best”. New members will learn from other cleaners on the team to learn the technical skills needed to achieve Buckingham standards.
While the ad notes some prior experience in cleaning or hospitality would be an advantage, the attention to detail and commitment to providing “the highest standard” or orderliness is “ most important."
Palace is looking for someone who is dynamic, has good time management skills and is not afraid to take on a hectic workload. The location covers a wide range of duties working on 77,000m2 of the Palace and 775 rooms.
